Why did we rebïrch Revealbot?

Hey, guys!

Misha, Mike, Iskander and the whole Revealbot team are here. If you are reading these words, it means that we have already... changed our name to Bïrch. Our clients can see: something has changed around here. And if you're a first-timer, take our word for it: things used to be different.

Revealbot is now Bïrch, and it's not just a rebranding or renaming. It's a reflection of a change in our philosophy, our product approach, and the world of ads. We want to share that with you.

We founded Revealbot in New York City in 2016. It all started with a bot that sent notifications to users about important events in their ads accounts, and that bot is reflected in our name. But we quickly turned Revealbot into a service, and developed it as a product: we helped to upload ads, customize them with strategies and rules, and show important things on dashboards.

8 years ago we've launched Revealbot on ProductHunt. Lighting our way to a bright future.

We're very grateful to the advertising professionals who fell for us at the start — and even presented at major conferences. This helped us catch a star and grow quickly. Guys, thank you, we appreciate it greatly!

All of this reflected our own approach and the market's approach: betting on maximum efficiency. It doesn't matter what an ad looks like, as long as it makes money. We have to admit that for the last few years, the advertising world has been an ocean of numbers. And that suited us just fine — Revealbot sailed in this ocean faster than the current and the wind.

We are deeply immersed in the market, communicating with other players and keeping an eye on customer needs. Revealbot is a service where professionals and agencies run billions of dollars worth of ads a year. And we ourselves run Facebook ads for Revealbot. One day we saw them and wondered — is this really an ad we want to be associated with?

We began to realize that we wanted to spend more time and energy on creativity, on working together. Major players from Google to Meta agree with us: they highlight the growing importance of a creative in advertising efficiency.

In 2023, we realized that we wanted to change Revealbot, to make it relevant to the new environment. That's how we came up with Bïrch.

For advertising professionals, we kept all the features of Revealbot for which we are so valued: rules, analytics, testing creatives, and much more. But at the same time we added new tools to the service. For example, Smart Rules — with them, automation will become even easier. Or Highlights in Overview — an AI-powered dashboard that will help keep ads stay relevant and converting.

We have a lot of new features and services — we'll tell you more about them later. And you can already see some of them on our new website!

We believe that Bïrch will help thousands of people to run ads without stress. We won't forget about other people who help performance marketers — managers, designers, copywriters and everyone who crafts an ad will all have swift and powerful tools to do their best work.

And with our collaboration tools we plan to bring together creative and performance — we are excited to see the ads that you will create!
