Say last Tuesday your plan changed. Meta had been carrying the month, then a Search campaign started converting at half the cost, and the budget moved. The rules guarding your Meta spend didn’t know anything about it. The TikTok ad sets kept running on last week’s logic. And the Friday client report had to be rebuilt by hand from three exports.
If that week sounds familiar, this piece is for you. We compared seven tools that manage ads on two or more of Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat from one place, ours included and held to the same standard as everyone else. We’ve also noticed that none of the existing comparisons cover whether you actually need software or for now your setup can be handled by the native platforms’ tool, so we added that in.
How we compared
We make one of these tools, so the method matters more than usual. Every entry is built from three layers: what the vendor says on its own site and in its documentation; what users say on G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, and Trustpilot; and the gap between the two. Scope and limits come only from documentation, never from a single review. We didn’t run campaigns through the other six tools, and we don’t claim to have. Everything below is as of Oct. 6, 2026.
What “cross-channel” has to mean before you compare tools
The phrase covers four different jobs, and a tool can be cross-platform on one and single-platform on the other three. Worth separating them before reading any feature list.
- Create. Producing the creatives: variants, localizations, formats.
- Launch. Turning creatives into ads and ad sets on several platforms from the same plan.
- Automate. Rules that watch performance and act on it, with one logic across platforms.
- Analyze. Reporting and creative analytics with the same metrics for every platform.
- AI. In 2026 every tool on this list says AI somewhere. The useful question is whether it suggests, writes, or acts, and on which platforms.
- Agent access. Whether an agent outside the tool can work through it. More teams now run part of their ad ops from Claude, ChatGPT, or their own scripts, and that needs an MCP server or an API on the tool’s side. The questions are the same as for the AI: can the agent only read, or can it act, and on which platforms.
If the rules you need are simple, pausing above a CPA or a notification on a spend spike, the native rules in Meta, Google, and TikTok cover it, and a Looker Studio report on top carries the reporting for a while. We’ve written about where the native rules stop for Meta and for Google. The short version: they stop at cross-platform logic and at how often they check. If you haven’t hit either wall yet, you may not need software.
The list leaves out two categories on purpose. Search-first PPC tools such as Optmyzr and Adalysis are built around Google and Microsoft, with paid social as an addition; they belong in the Google guide. And the “cross-channel marketing platforms” that surface in the same search, the email, SMS, and push suites, do a different job entirely.
Entries are alphabetical. Each carries the same six lines: the platforms it manages, what it does on each of them by job, what its AI does, what an outside agent can reach, pricing with the published figures and a link to the page they came from, and the situation it fits. Scope is stated as what a tool does, platform by platform, so what it doesn’t do shows in the gaps.

The tools
AdManage
Platforms: Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and Snapchat, plus Pinterest, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, AppLovin, Taboola, and others; AdManage’s own pages count the channels differently, 10 on the plan cards and 12 on the homepage. The entry plan covers one Meta ad account; the other channels open from the mid-tier plan.
Launch is the center. Creatives come in from a cloud folder, get grouped and named by filename, and go out to every channel from one flow, into several ad sets or across markets with localized copy; a Google Sheets add-on handles row-based batches for Meta and TikTok. Format coverage is wide, including Meta’s catalog and partnership ads, TikTok’s Spark Ads, and Google’s Performance Max.
Automate: a rule engine counted per plan, from one rule on the entry plan to unlimited on the agency tier; which channels the rules cover beyond Meta isn’t stated.
Analyze: creative reporting with ad-level ROAS and CTR, and a Triple Whale integration.
AI: a chat assistant, an AI studio that generates statics and video, and AI naming.
Agent access: a documented REST API and an MCP server, so an assistant or a script can run the launch itself: the API reference covers launching Meta ads, single and multi-placement, creating Snapchat ad squads, polling batch status, and pulling reports.
Pricing: flat monthly fee by plan and ad-account count, no percentage of spend, from about $265 a month (£199.99) for one Meta account to about $1,325 (£999.99) for 10 accounts, enterprise custom; a money-back guarantee rather than a trial, seven days on the entry plan and 30 on the others. Independent reviews are scarce: a G2 listing with two reviews and one on Trustpilot at the time of writing.
Best for: teams for whom the launch is the job, across many formats, markets, and channels, who want creative production in the same tool.
Bïrch
Platforms: Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat.
Automate is the center: automated rules run on all four platforms, built the same way on each, and can take your own numbers from a connected attribution tool or a Google Sheet as inputs. Launch: Stage creates ads on Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat from a Google Drive library or a planning sheet; each sheet serves one platform, one sheet can launch to many ad accounts in a single run with the template ad chosen per row, and the new ads wait for you to turn them on. Analyze: scheduled reports to Slack or email for each of the four platforms, and Explorer for creative analytics on Meta, with fatigue and top-asset views. Rules, Stage, Explorer, and Launcher are Pro features; the Essential plans carry reports, post boosting, and the Slack integration.
AI: Bïrch AI reads performance across all four platforms, drafts rules from a plain-language description, and analyzes Meta automation rules; Meta MCP inside it adds live Meta data and industry benchmarks.
Agent access: Bïrch MCP connects Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or any other MCP client to your automation with 19 tools. Thirteen read: list rules and their folders, pull one rule’s full logic in prose, read execution logs down to which entities matched and what fired, list workspaces and ad accounts, search the metric catalog, check Stage tasks with their uploads and created ads, and search the help center. Six write, on existing rules across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat: enable or disable, rename, duplicate, move between folders, change ad accounts, replace entity filters. What to ask once it’s connected.
Pricing: by monthly ad spend across the connected accounts, with unlimited users and ad accounts on every plan. Essential from $49 a month; Pro from $99 a month for up to $10k spend to $1,799 for up to $500k; custom above that. Annual billing takes a month off; on monthly plans, spend above the tier’s limit is charged as a small percentage overage rather than cutting the service. A 14-day trial with every Pro feature, no card. Reviewers on G2 and Capterra name the learning curve of the rules as the price of their flexibility.
Best for: teams running rules across Meta and Google that have added TikTok or Snapchat, and teams launching creatives across many ad accounts from a sheet.
Hunch
Platforms: Meta and Snapchat for direct launch; TikTok is in beta with a waitlist.
Create and Launch together: Hunch turns a product catalog into thousands of localized image and video variants and pushes them to Meta and Snapchat, with TikTok in beta.
Automate: rules that pause or scale on CPA and ROAS run on Meta, per its help center, with automation plans for launches on Meta and Snapchat.
Analyze: one dashboard across its channels. Hunch’s own comparison page sends you to Smartly if you need Google Ads.
AI: an AI panel in the creative editor for background removal and product orientation, documented in its help center; AI recommendations on what to pause and launch next appear on its marketing pages.
Agent access: none documented. Neither Hunch’s site nor its help center describes an API or an MCP server.
Pricing: sales-led, not published; by its comparison page the fee applies only to the campaigns that run through Hunch, with hands-on onboarding. Independent reviews are few.
Best for: e-commerce teams with a large catalog and a creative bottleneck, running paid social rather than search.
Kitchn
Platforms: Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest, and Google Ads for Demand Gen campaigns; LinkedIn, Spotify, and AppLovin in beta, per its site. By Kitchn’s own description, Meta is the most complete channel.
Launch from a grid where hundreds of ads are edited like one row, with assets pulled from Drive, Dropbox, and Frame.io; reusable ad templates on every plan, custom naming and folder scanning from the Elite plan, and import from CSV or a Google Sheet on Enterprise.
Automate: pre-launch checks, live-ad monitoring with Slack alerts, automatic pausing when something breaks, and a changelog, mainly on Meta and TikTok; rule-based campaign changes and ad duplication are an Enterprise feature.
Analyze: the same monitoring views. G2 reviewers who praise the time saved also ask for more depth beyond Meta.
AI: not described on the pricing and product pages we checked.
Agent access: API access is listed on the Enterprise plan; no API reference or MCP server is published.
Pricing: published tiers by ad accounts and monthly uploads: Launch Team at $529 a month for five accounts and 900 uploads, Launch Elite at $2,349 for 15 accounts and unlimited uploads, Enterprise at $60,000 a year with API access and a customer success manager. Every tier starts with a 14-day trial.
Best for: paid social teams launching high volumes who want the launch checked and monitored, and who will size the plan by how many ad accounts and uploads a month they actually run.
Plurio
Platforms: Meta and Google for rules, by its rules page; its press kit also claims TikTok. Reads more platforms for reporting.
Automate on a different premise from everyone else here: rules are graded on revenue and customer lifetime value pulled from your CRM, not on platform-reported ROAS.
Analyze: the attribution and reporting product it grew out of (Elly Analytics), which is also what every public review describes. There is no Create or Launch step.
AI: the product is the agent: it runs scheduled analyses and proposes or applies budget and creative changes, with approval configurable per rule.
Agent access: Plurio is the agent rather than a tool for one; no API or MCP server for an outside assistant is published.
Pricing: not published; every path leads to a demo. Plurio’s own pages name the band it builds for: teams spending $300k to $15M a month.
Best for: teams with long conversion cycles and a CRM worth connecting, who want optimization on revenue from their own data, and who are comfortable being early.
Skai
Platforms: paid search (Google, Microsoft), paid social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, with Reddit connected for reporting and campaign creation rolling out), and retail media (Amazon, Walmart Connect, and others).
By job: Launch, Automate, and Analyze across search, social, and retail media, plus budget planning across all three. It has the widest span on this list and is the only one that reaches retail media. Reviewers praise the algorithmic bidding and mention the learning curve; TrustRadius reviewers note the bidding does best on high-volume campaigns.
AI: Celeste AI in every tier, and Skai Studio as an agentic layer in beta.
Agent access: Agent Connect, announced on Sept. 22, 2026, opens Skai to outside agents over MCP with Reporting and Campaign Actions connectors, 34 tools in all: an agent can read performance and budgets and can create and modify campaigns, adjust bids and budgets, change status, and edit objects in bulk across accounts.
Pricing: published annual tiers by annual ad spend: $114k a year for up to $4M of spend, $276k for up to $10M, $504k for up to $20M, $756k for up to $35M, custom above; the commitment can be reviewed after the first three months. No trial.
Best for: teams whose spend includes retail media and paid search alongside social.
Smartly
Platforms: Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat; beyond them, Pinterest, Reddit, X in beta, Amazon DSP for connected TV, and programmatic through DV360, CM360, The Trade Desk, and Yahoo DSP.
By job: all four, with Create at the center: templated creative is generated and localized at scale, then bought and reported in the same system. On Google, Smartly supports Demand Gen, App, and Video campaigns, with Performance Max in beta; Search isn’t a supported campaign type. G2 reviewers describe an easy initial setup with support behind it, then a learning curve for the advanced features.
AI: Creative Predictive Potential, which scores creative before launch, and Creative Insights after it.
Agent access: a reporting API with account-level tokens, used by third-party clients to pull campaign and creative performance; no MCP server is documented.
Pricing: not published; a percentage of the ad spend in the ad accounts connected to Smartly, invoiced monthly with a monthly minimum. No self-serve trial.
Best for: brands producing localized creative variants at scale across markets, with a procurement process and an ad-ops team to run the platform.

Questions to ask on the demo
The questions that recur on the demo and onboarding calls we run.
- Which platforms can I launch on from here, and which can I only report on?
- Can one rule span two platforms, and how often does it check?
- Can rules use my own numbers, from an attribution tool, a backend, or a Google Sheet, and not only what the platform reports? What happens when a late conversion lands after an ad was paused?
- Is there a notify-only mode, and where do I see what fired overnight?
- How many ad accounts and markets can one launch reach, and does it keep my Advantage+ creative enhancements as I set them?
- Can my team edit live ads from here, without logging into the platform with personal accounts?
- What does the AI do: suggest rules, write them from plain language, or act on its own?
- Is there an MCP server or an API, and can my agent act through it or only read?
- How does the price scale, by spend, ad accounts, or seats, and is setup help included or a one-time fee?
