Best Practices for TikTok

Hi! In this video, I'll show you practical strategies and tips to make managing your Snapchat Ads easier and more effective with Bïrch. These strategies are designed to save time, protect your budget, and help you scale campaigns more effectively. We'll cover four key areas: overspend protection, scaling ad sets, delivery and performance alerts, and smart naming. You'll find links to all these strategies below, so you can set them up with just a few clicks.

Overspend Protection

This strategy keeps your ad spend under control without sacrificing performance. It's especially useful if you manage multiple ad sets or campaigns and want to avoid overspending without constant manual checks.
It uses two rules:
- The first pauses an ad set and tags it with [OVERSPENT] whenever today's ROAS is too low or spend goes over the set limit, so you instantly see why it was stopped.
- The second reduces an ad set's budget by 20% every hour if today's spend or CPA crosses the threshold, keeping spend in check automatically.

Scale Ad Sets

This strategy helps you boost results by scaling ad sets that are already performing well. Perfect for peak performance periods when you don't want to miss out on growth.
It also includes two rules:
- The first increases budgets by 15% and adds a [SCALE] tag when today's ROAS or conversions hit the target.
- The second cuts budgets by 15% on ad sets that show weak performance, either with high CPA or low ROAS.

Delivery & Performance Alerts

This strategy makes sure you never miss a delivery or performance issue. It's great for fast-moving accounts where even a few hours of downtime can be costly.
The rule here sends a notification every hour to Slack or email if after noon there are no impressions, no spend, or if CPA goes above your set threshold. That way, you can catch problems quickly without constantly refreshing Ads Manager.

Smart Naming Rules

Finally, smart naming rules keep your ad account clean and easy to analyze. They automatically tag or rename ads or ad sets so performance signals are visible at a glance.
Here's how it works:
- Ads with a high cost per acquisition are tagged [HIGH CPA].
- Test ad sets that start generating conversions are renamed from [TEST] to [LIVE].
- And ads showing signs of fatigue from impressions or swipe ups get tagged [FATIGUE RISK].

All of these strategies are fully customizable. You can adjust the rule conditions, thresholds, and tags to match your own goals. By setting them up in Bïrch, you'll spend less time micromanaging campaigns and more time focusing on strategy.
